SMM News on June 16: Today, the overall price in the rare earth market remained relatively stable. Specifically, in the oxide market, the price of Pr-Nd oxide rose to 443,000 to 445,000 yuan/mt, dysprosium oxide remained stable at 1.62 million to 1.63 million yuan/mt, terbium oxide remained stable at 7.1 million to 7.15 million yuan/mt, and gadolinium oxide remained stable at 163,000 to 165,000 yuan/mt. Holmium oxide remained stable at 515,000 to 520,000 yuan/mt, and erbium oxide continued to fluctuate between 300,000 to 305,000 yuan/mt.

In the metal market, the price of Pr-Nd alloy remained stable at 542,000 to 545,000 yuan/mt today, dysprosium-iron alloy remained stable at 1.57 million to 1.58 million yuan/mt, the quoted price of terbium metal remained stable at 8.8 million to 8.9 million yuan/mt, gadolinium-iron alloy remained stable at 158,000 to 159,000 yuan/mt, holmium-iron alloy remained stable at 524,000 to 528,000 yuan/mt, and the price of lanthanum-cerium alloy continued to remain stable at 17,000 to 19,000 yuan/mt.

Currently, the overall price in the rare earth market remains stable. The tender activities of major magnetic material manufacturers in the metal market have played a stabilizing role in market prices, leading to a recovery in trading activity in the oxide market and a slight rise in prices. Overall, market trading activity has improved, with prices stopping falling and stabilizing. The stalemate between upstream and downstream in the market has eased somewhat, but due to limited end-use demand, actual trading volumes remain low. It is expected that in the short term, rare earth prices may remain stable.
